Crowns & Bridges

Dental Crown and Bridges are an excellent option for enhancing your best accessory – Your smile!

Sometimes problems like tooth decay or worn-down enamel are too severe to correct with a small filling. Or worse, you lose your tooth altogether. Fortunately, Angel Dental Care offers a range of restorative dental services to help you smile with confidence again.

Crowns

Crowns cover the entire area of a tooth up to the gum lines. We use crowns for reinforcing teeth that might otherwise succumb to everyday wear. Such as after root canal therapy, when replacing a rather large filling, or if there’s severe tooth decay.

Crowns can also be set over dental implants for single tooth replacement.

Bridges

Bridges are a proven and effective way to replace 1-2 teeth at a time, as long as you have a healthy tooth on either side of the gap. The bridge itself is made to resemble 3-4 natural teeth in a row, but either end is a crown that rests over the supporting tooth.

Like crowns, bridges can be integrated with a pair of dental implants for multi-tooth replacement.

Do I qualify for crowns or bridges?

Before committing to dental crowns and bridges, our dentists at Angel Dental Care will need to make sure your smile is free of active decay or gum disease and that the tooth can actually support a crown. We encourage you to reserve a one-on-one consultation to find out if crowns are right for you. We’re happy to guide you through the process.

Crowns & Bridges Maintenance

We highly encourage our crowns and/or bridges patients to brush and floss daily, as well as schedule six-monthly cleans. If you’re someone who tends to clench and grind your teeth, it’s smart to invest in a nightguard to prevent unnecessary chipping.
